Legal & beta notices
Plain-English notices for the Proofline public beta. Each section below is a draft prepared for professional legal review before general availability. Proofline is context, not advice.
Public Beta Notice
DraftProofline is in public beta. Features, coverage, and copy may change, and parts of the product may be incomplete or temporarily unavailable. Coverage is intentionally limited so that every market we show has real, cited evidence. Nothing is fabricated when there is no evidence to show.
During the beta, treat everything you see as work in progress. If something looks wrong, please use “Report incorrect evidence” on the market or email support.

No Investment Advice
DraftProofline provides context about prediction markets. It is not investment advice and is not a trading recommendation. It does not tell you what to trade, does not judge whether a market’s price is right or wrong, and does not predict or promise how a market will resolve.
Evidence direction (for example, supports YES or supports NO) describes how a development relates to a market’s question. It is a description, not a recommendation, and does not tell you what position to take. Proofline is not a broker, holds no funds, and places no orders. Decisions you make are your own.

Market Data Limitations
DraftMarket probabilities and prices are read from public venue endpoints and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. We label the kind of price shown (for example, a venue outcome price or a last trade) and when it was observed. A probability shown on Proofline may differ from what you see on the venue at the same moment.
We show a freshness state on every market and mark data as limited or temporarily unavailable rather than filling gaps with fabricated numbers. Always confirm details on the venue itself before relying on them.

Sources & Copyright
DraftProofline links developments to their sources, favoring primary and official documents where they exist. We show short excerpts and factual summaries for context and link to the original source so you can read it in full. We do not reproduce full articles, and copyright in source material remains with its owner.
Source classifications and primary-source labels are our reading and can be corrected. If you believe a source is mislabeled or a link is broken, please report it on the market.

Corrections Policy
DraftEvidence readings, directions, and resolution notes are prepared by hand and can be wrong. When we learn of an error, we correct it and publish a short, dated correction note on the affected market. If a source is retracted, we mark the evidence accordingly.
Reports you file are private to you and reviewed by hand. You can see the status of your reports in your account. Filing a report does not ensure a change; some reports are reviewed and result in no change.

Alert Limitations
DraftAlerts describe new evidence and corrections on the markets you follow. They are context, not advice, and are never trade recommendations. In the public beta, alerts appear in-app on your watchlist; email delivery is not yet active and any email opt-in is recorded as intent only.
Alerts may be delayed or may miss a development. Do not rely on alerts as a complete or timely record of everything happening on a market.

Privacy
DraftYour account, drafts, watchlist, reports, and settings are private to you. We use privacy-conscious product analytics with a fixed set of event names and scrub obvious personal data from event details. We do not monetize personal data or share it for third-party advertising. Report contents are visible only to you and to the reviewers who act on them.
When we retrieve public sources, we do so from an administrator-curated allow-list and store only short excerpts and factual summaries, not full copies. This section is a plain-English summary; a complete privacy policy will accompany general availability.

Terms of Use
DraftBy using Proofline you agree to use it for lawful, personal, informational purposes. Proofline is provided during the public beta on an as-is basis, without warranties, and context may contain errors. You are responsible for your own decisions and for confirming anything important on the venue itself.
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it in ways that burden the service or its sources. These terms are a draft summary and will be replaced by complete terms before general availability.
